About this tour

Mingei International Museum has embarked on a transformation of its physical building in Balboa Park, one that will allow the Museum to carry out its mission in meaningful new ways: A space where all are welcome, where the community can gather, and where individuals can find respite, beauty and creative inspiration. Rob Sidner, Executive Director and CEO of Mingei International Museum, hosts a virtual tour of the renovated Museum with Jennifer Luce, principal architect of LUCE et Studio, to discuss the ideas and creatives contributing to this imaginative new space.
